The 3D Sensory Builders have been a great addition to our outdoor activity time. We are always looking for activities to keep the children engaged while building their large motor skills. The 3D builders have been engaging for the children. The students must develop their large motor skills to put the pieces together. Working with other students to build also helps them develop relationships with others and gives them opportunities to share and work with others. \r\n\r\nThe magnetic tiles have also been very popular. The students were so excited to get the box of goodies and were excited to begin using all the fun toys. \r\n\r\nThe Easy-Stack Crystal Builders have become one of the favorites to use both on the table and at the light table. They are able to develop fine motor skills by creating patterns with the blocks, sort the blocks by color or even create letters with them. They are easy to use and when using on the light table it inspires creativity.\r\n\r\nThe Shake and Soothe Sensory Tubes have been added to our calming corner to help the students take moments as needed to calm down. The Geoboard design center was used in small groups in our math center.
