We simply place them in the wagon and I take out with us. One of our teachers gave me a vinyl raised bed, but I needed soil and seeds to plant. Your generous donation supplied my class with this.\r\n\r\nWe planted radishes and carrots first. Our first crop of radishes came up very quickly and we were able to harvest and eat them. Many students had never eaten a radish before, so it was a great learning experience. Unfortunately, a hard frost came unexpectedly and our carrots froze. We learned about how weather effects farming.\r\n\r\nOnce the weather gets a little warmer, we will be planting lettuce and beans. The kids can't wait until we plant our next crop.
