The crate is being utilized as our file organizer. The wagon has been a huge plus! It's easier for students to place their library books in the wagon before we head to the library. All I have to do is place them on the librarians counter & we're good to go. Hauling our PE equipment is easier too. I don't need to have my students carry out the equipment baskets anymore. We simply place them in the wagon and I take out with us. We are grateful for these donations.","fullyFundedDate":1755651819221,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-cruiser-the-ultimate-hauling/9588034/","projectTitle":"Classroom Cruiser: The Ultimate Hauling Wagon","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Juarez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5994024_orig.jpg?crop=2062,2062,x88,y951&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755189102475","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-juarezl"},{"teacherId":230958,"projectId":9255966,"letterContent":"At this point in my teaching career, having spent over 25 years guiding students in 4th and 5th grade, moving into 6th grade has been an exciting and invigorating change. I was fortunate to already know many of my students from earlier years, but stepping into this new role came with fresh challenges—especially in the area of classroom technology. Thanks to the generous support through DonorsChoose, I was able to replace our aging headphones and mice with reliable, new equipment. This upgrade has transformed the daily experience for my students, allowing them to fully engage with essential programs like Ready Math and ELA without frustration or delay.\r\n The new tools haven't just improved access—they've elevated focus, confidence, and independence in the classroom. Students no longer need to swap or troubleshoot broken devices, which means we can spend more time learning and less time problem-solving hardware. One quiet, powerful change I've noticed is how quickly students settle into their routines and take ownership of their learning—something that was much harder before. I'm deeply grateful for this support; it's helped me start this new chapter with optimism and energy, and more importantly, it's ensured that my students begin their own journey with the tools they need to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1747173946499,"projectUrl":"project/can-you-hear-me/9255966/","projectTitle":"Can You Hear Me?","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Lewis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp230958_orig.jpg?crop=2923,2923,x20,y272&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1763956429476","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/scott-lewis"},{"teacherId":5994024,"projectId":8985537,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the generous donation of art supplies to our 2nd grade class! One standout moment was during a geometry project where students worked in small, dynamic groups to tackle hands-on challenges involving angles and shapes. Using the Building Thinking Classroom techniques, the students rotated roles, shared their thought processes at the whiteboard, and engaged in collaborative problem-solving. It was thrilling to see their ideas build on one another, forming solutions that were more creative and robust than any one of them could have developed alone. The energy in the room was contagious—every student was actively participating, thinking critically, and expressing their unique perspective.\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their reactions were a mix of curiosity and excitement. The colorful manipulatives and interactive resources immediately captured their attention, and they couldn't wait to explore them. One student exclaimed, \"This looks so cool! Are we solving puzzles today?\" Watching them dive into the activities with enthusiasm and confidence was a testament to how engaging and empowering these tools are for young learners.","fullyFundedDate":1730499119285,"projectUrl":"project/building-thinking-classrooms-in-math/8758572/","projectTitle":"Building Thinking Classrooms in Math","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Lewis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp230958_orig.jpg?crop=2923,2923,x20,y272&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1763956429476","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/scott-lewis"},{"teacherId":3530516,"projectId":8762811,"letterContent":"Thank you for supprting my gardening project. Thanks to your contributions, we received tissues, organization bins for school supplies, and stickers for rewarding our students. \r\nThe tissues have been a lifesaver! With the changing seasons, many students often come to school with sniffles and colds. Having tissues readily available helps them feel more comfortable and allows them to focus on their learning without distractions.\r\n\r\nThe organization bins have transformed our classroom! Before, our supplies were all over the place, making it hard for students to find what they needed. Now, everything has its own place and there is a bin at each group. This not only helps keep our classroom tidy but also teaches students the importance of organization and responsibility. They can easily access what they need and put things back in their proper spots.\r\nThe stickers for rewards have brought so much joy to our students! They love earning stickers for their hard work and good behavior. This simple reward system motivates them to do their best and creates a positive atmosphere in our classroom. It's wonderful to see their faces light up when they receive a sticker for their achievements! Plus they love that each one has a smell.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your kindness and support.
