Through the use of said supplies, I was able to implement math folders in all four of my classes. This meant that my students were able to create and have access to a personal year long reference book specific to what they learned in 7th grade math. Through out the year, students were able to use this resource to work through problems when they got stuck, check their work, track their progress, and review for tests. To make things even better, all of these tasks could be done in one place. \r\n\r\n The use of folders this year helped keep myself as the teacher organized and accountable right along with the students. I had to think ahead about lessons, make the copies, and hole punch them for each lesson. The first year was definitely a learning curve for me, but I look forward to making improvements next school year to increase the positive impact on both my instruction and my student's learning. Without your donations I would not have even been able to get started let alone be looking toward future adjustments and for that I am grateful to you.
