Keeping the body active promotes mental clarity by increasing blood flow to the brain, making activity vital to both learning and physical and neurological health." -- Marwa Abdelbary, "Education Week Teacher" My students will benefit from a standing desk with stool to exert their energy productively, allowing them to improve focus on learning. Increased focus allows students to retain more information and process what they have learned. As a result, math levels will increase as well as their self-esteem. The students will be more active during the school day which promotes a positive, healthy lifestyle.
