We recently worked on an illustrated writing project where students researched a community worker and then added detailed drawings using the new supplies. Because the crayons don't need to be sharpened, students stayed focused and were able to add vibrant details to their work, which they were very proud of.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, they were full of excitement—many commented on how \"special\" and \"fancy\" the supplies felt, and the scented markers were an instant hit! I could immediately see students taking more care with their artwork and showing increased pride in their completed assignments.\r\n\r\nOur next steps will be using these materials for upcoming writing projects.
