Students are learning about plant needs, growth, responsibility, and patience as they care for our classroom garden. One of my favorite parts has been watching their excitement as they check for changes and new growth. Even the smallest change becomes something worth celebrating! It has also encouraged teamwork as students work together to care for the plants and make observations.\r\n\r\nNext, we will continue monitoring our plants, recording their growth, and learning more about how plants develop over time. As our garden grows, students will get to experience the entire process from seed to harvest and see firsthand how consistent care can create something amazing. Because of you, my students now have access to tools that help ensure learning doesn't stop when life gets in the way.\r\n\r\nIn our low-socioeconomic community, reliable internet access is not something every student can count on. Before this project, when students were absent due to illness or other circumstances, they often fell behind simply because they couldn't access digital materials. Thanks to your donation of a Kindle Scribe, that barrier is being removed.\r\n\r\nThis year, I had a student who was diagnosed with cancer and had to miss extended time from school. Because of this device, I was able to quickly create clear, handwritten notes, worked examples, and diagrams, convert them into PDFs, and get printed materials to that student consistently. It allowed them to stay connected to our classroom learning during an incredibly difficult time, something that would have been much harder to manage before.\r\n\r\nI am now able to provide that same level of support to all students—creating easy-to-follow notes, graphs, and explanations that can be printed and sent home. Every student, regardless of internet access, can stay on track. This has been especially impactful for students who benefit from visual, step-by-step instruction or need additional support.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your support is helping create a more equitable learning environment.
