They are learning to transfer these skills to their general education classrooms too. \r\n\r\nOn Fridays after a group earns 80% of their points for the week, they have Friday Fun where they choose what toy or game they'd like to use for their time. Having new magnetic blocks to build with has been a game changer. Not only are they wanting to build with our new blocks, but they have renewed interest in the building/stem toys already in the classroom. \r\n\r\nHaving a variety of items available allows students more options to choose. Students are taking ownership of their actions and choices.
