My students were amazed just looking at the fancy red and pink fans. Once they got to open them, their eyes brightened and ...oooos...aaaas...wows came pouring out. Some of them decided to give up their lunch to learn a Chinese fan dance. There, they had a blast with the silk fans and danced away. We really appreciate the beautiful fans we received. The students also enjoyed the sweet tasty candies as we learned about the Lunar New Year. Of course, we can't miss the red envelopes stuffed with money and candies. The iPad you have generously helped fun has been an integral part of my daily instruction. It has especially been helpful because our math curriculum now has digital presentation components. The iPad allows me to easily annotate on the slides. At the same time, I can walk around students' desks to monitor students' understanding, do any redirection, and provide direct support. Not only that, I can have students write on the slides themselves! They love sharing their math ideas that way.
