Not only that, I can have students write on the slides themselves! They love sharing their math ideas that way. When I am not doing whole-class instruction, the iPad is also used by students with IEPs to work on adaptive learning apps. Also, extra fidgets means every student who needs one can use it when needed. And every table group gets a full set of markers, even when the red and black markers inevitable runs out.
