I pride myself on being able to meet my students' needs and desires through literature, but it is only with the help of others that my goals can truly blossom. \r\n\r\nI am so appreciative of your support of my library, your belief in my ability to provide a literary refuge on campus, and your kinship with my students, even though you don't even know them. \r\n\r\nWe will read our hearts out in your honor. No matter how engaging a lesson was, if a student couldn't see the board, they were already at a disadvantage. That changes now. With our new display, every single student, regardless of where they sit, has a clear, unobstructed view of lessons, notes, vocabulary, and examples as they are being taught.\r\n\r\nWe are just getting started, but the excitement in the room is already palpable. Students have been leaning back in their chairs with confidence rather than craning their necks, and I can already see the difference it makes in their engagement and participation. In my Spanish class, this means vocabulary charts, sentence structures, and visual language supports are now truly visible and useful to everyone at once.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, I plan to use the projector to display interactive vocabulary activities, student work, and instructional videos that bring the Spanish language to life in ways I simply couldn't before. Before this project was funded, I was constantly rationing prints or asking students to copy things by hand. Now, I can print exactly what my students need, when they need it. We are currently deep into a vocabulary unit, and having fresh, crisp practice sheets, word maps, and visual vocabulary cards ready every single day has made a noticeable difference in how students engage with new Spanish words and retain them.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies arrived, my ninth graders were genuinely excited. Several students immediately picked up the vocabulary handouts and started quizzing each other — without being asked. That kind of spontaneous engagement tells me everything.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students will be using their growing vocabulary to move into conversational practice and short written responses in Spanish. With the ability to print consistently, I can give every student personalized feedback sheets and scaffolded supports so no one falls behind.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible. While these materials may seem simple, they have had a powerful impact on my students' learning. Because we now have reliable access to printed materials, students are able to complete practice activities, guided notes, and review packets without worrying about shortages. Before quizzes and tests, students use printed reviews to annotate, highlight key concepts, and test themselves, which has made preparation more structured and effective.\r\n\r\nWhat has been most exciting for students is having consistent access to printed resources they can physically interact with. Many of my students learn best when they can write directly on the page, circle mistakes, and revisit feedback. Students who struggle with focus or test anxiety have especially benefited, since printed materials help reduce screen fatigue and allow them to move at their own pace. I've noticed stronger engagement during review days and more confidence going into assessments.\r\n\r\nBecause of this project, I am able to provide clearer instruction, more frequent practice opportunities, and meaningful feedback throughout each unit. These new resources have quickly become a regular part of our classroom routine, especially before quizzes and tests. Students are using them to review key concepts, practice vocabulary, and test themselves independently. I've seen students arrive early or ask to stay a few extra minutes just to run through the materials one more time before an assessment. What stands out most is how confident they feel when they walk into a quiz, because they've already had the chance to practice and check their understanding in a low-stress way.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were genuinely excited. Many of them immediately asked, \"Can we use this today?\" or \"Can we use this before the test?\" That excitement turned into engagement. For several students who typically struggle with test anxiety, these tools have helped them feel more prepared and less overwhelmed.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, these resources will continue to be used as part of our daily instruction, warm-ups, review stations, and targeted support before major assessments.
