We are using the materials sent on a daily basis. The materials sent are very beneficial to the learning environment. It helps make sure our centers run smoothly, as well as help us stay organzied.\r\n\r\nThe colorful storage drawer is used to hold our materials that we are using for the week. The teacher is able to have each day labeled. It also helps when the class has to have a sub. The students know exactly what drawer to go in to get the work for that day.\r\n\r\nWe are so excited to have flexible seating. When students are at the teacher-led, they have another place to sit, instead of sitting at their desks all day. The bins are wonderful for centers. It help myself and the students to know exaclty what center they should be doing.","fullyFundedDate":1754349101714,"projectUrl":"project/all-set-for-learning/9448722/","projectTitle":"All Set for Learning.","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6767439"},{"teacherId":8009785,"projectId":9531477,"letterContent":"Our students were incredibly excited and appreciative when they received the new classroom resources! The rug quickly became one of their favorite places to learn. We use it daily for whole-group instruction, morning meetings, read-alouds, and small-group center activities. Having a designated learning space has helped students stay engaged, collaborate with classmates, and build a stronger classroom community.\r\n\r\nThe carpet sweeper and disinfecting wipes have also become an important part of our daily classroom routine. At the end of each school day, students proudly help clean their learning areas by sweeping the rug and wiping down tables and other classroom surfaces. This has encouraged responsibility, teamwork, and pride in taking care of our classroom environment.\r\n\r\nThe smiles and excitement on my students' faces when they first saw the materials were priceless. They immediately gathered on the new rug, eager to read, learn, and participate in lessons together. They truly understood that these resources were a special gift from caring supporters who believe in their success.\r\n\r\nAs we continued through the school year, those resources supported our literacy and math instruction, and collaborative activities. My future students will continue strengthening foundational reading, writing, and math skills while learning the importance of responsibility, cooperation, and caring for shared classroom materials. Thank you for investing in our classroom and helping create a positive, engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1755636090542,"projectUrl":"project/for-the-love-of-kindergarten/9531477/","projectTitle":"For the Love of Kindergarten","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Tenner","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8009785_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1780369222545","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/tennerimpact"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_17769","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":302,"numTeachers":24,"percentFrplEligible":72,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":87,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":0,"gradesServed":"K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"12.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":49.6,"schoolId":17769,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Utica Elementary Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Utica Elementary Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/mississippi/hinds-county-school-district/utica-elementary-school/17769"}
