I want to show my students the opportunities that art can bring to them. My school is in an urban district so I want to focus my teaching around the styles of art we see everyday here. Logo designs are huge so this year I want to expand their horizon to print making and just how quick and fun it can be. My students rarely ever experience an art class before me so I try to start simply and gradually grow their interest in the arts. I would like for my students to create a piece of art that they will be proud of and want to take home and show everyone. My students at the beginning she stencils so the printer ink is vital for beginning assignments. My kiddos love logos and I know the printmaking material we can make t shirts or stamp type prints. The sand and shaker would be use for other artwork assignments to include all students. Last year I had some paint donated and I believe the canvas roll will allow more people to paint this year.
