Learning a new language requires students to have frequent opportunities to listen, speak, and interact with English in a variety of ways. While face-to-face conversations are an important part of our classroom, these headphones have opened the door to so many additional learning experiences. Students can now clearly listen to English conversations, pronunciation models, videos, and interactive language activities without struggling with broken or unreliable equipment.\r\n\r\nThe built-in microphone feature has been especially valuable because it allows students to practice their own speaking skills. My students can now record themselves, respond to speaking activities, and use our digital language learning programs with much greater ease. For English learners, having opportunities to hear themselves speak and practice pronunciation in a comfortable, low-pressure setting is important in building both their language skills and confidence. \r\n\r\nSomething as simple as having reliable, comfortable equipment has made our technology based lessons run more smoothly and has given my students greater access to the tools they need to develop their English.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for providing my students with resources to allow them to grow with confidence.","fullyFundedDate":1775817743837,"projectUrl":"project/hear-to-succeed-headphones-for-language/10116829/","projectTitle":"Hear to Succeed: Headphones for Language Growth","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kyle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10440899_orig.jpg?crop=1080,1080,x0,y147&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1771882794797","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10440899"},{"teacherId":8498249,"projectId":7380270,"letterContent":"When our new flexible seating options arrived, my students' faces immediately lit up with excitement. For my students with unique learning needs and disabilities, having adaptable seating choices has completely transformed our classroom environment. Instead of spending energy struggling to stay comfortable or focused in standard desks, students can now select seating that meets their sensory and physical needs. The immediate boost in their engagement was incredible—they couldn't wait to try out the new setup and find the spot where they felt most confident and focused to learn.\r\n\r\nHaving these resources has directly supported our academic goals by removing physical barriers to learning. My students use these flexible seating options daily during small-group instruction, independent reading, and collaborative group tasks. Having the freedom to move and position themselves comfortably allows them to sustain attention longer, regulate their energy levels, and participate more actively in classroom discussions. These new seating options have created an inclusive, accessible space where every student feels supported and ready to thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1694444797639,"projectUrl":"project/snap-crackle-sit/7380270/","projectTitle":"Snap!
