I wanted to share just how much this resource has already impacted our students and our school community.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment the machine arrived, our students were buzzing with excitement. Many had never seen a slushie machine up close, and their eyes lit up the first time they watched the bright colors swirl and freeze. Teachers were just as thrilled—several joked that the lounge now feels like a \"mini vacation spot\" on campus.\r\n\r\nSince then, the slushie machine has become an incredible learning tool and a meaningful fundraiser. Students have taken full ownership of buying and selling slushies, turning it into a hands-on project in financial literacy. They are learning real-world lessons about planning, pricing, profit and loss, customer service, and teamwork. Watching them calculate daily totals, adjust inventory, and brainstorm sales strategies has been one of the most authentic learning experiences we've had this year.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has done more than bring a fun treat to our campus—it has helped us give back. Because of the proceeds from slushie sales, our students have been able to raise money to support our Thanksgiving food drive. They are so proud knowing that something they helped run is directly helping families in our community.\r\n\r\nTeachers have also been enjoying the slushies as special thank-you treats during long days and school events. It has added a little joy and connection to our staff culture.\r\n\r\nAs for next steps, our students are currently planning how to expand their fundraiser, track their financial progress, and explore new ways to use these skills in upcoming service projects. They're eager to continue building their small business model and finding more ways to make a positive impact on our school.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just fund a machine—it created opportunities, lessons, smiles, and service.
