We use these seating options throughout the day during circle time, small-group instruction, and independent work. Having the right seating has helped our students feel safe, regulated, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new seating, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. They were eager to try each option. Several students used the seating to self-regulate and calm their bodies. It was heartwarming to see how something so simple made such a big difference in their confidence and participation.\r\n\r\nNext, we are continuing to build our social-emotional and academic skills by using this seating during structured play, early literacy activities, and sensory-based learning lessons. Your support allows our students to access learning in a way that honors their individual needs and abilities. Thank you for giving our classroom tools to grow, learn, and succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1760705050064,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-for-tk-1st-modsevere-s/9691908/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating for TK-1st Mod/Severe Special Ed Class","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Napoles","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10180916"},{"teacherId":10190988,"projectId":9626639,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for investing in our music classroom. Each new resource has been used in great capacity. My students have been more engaged in class, excited about our lessons, and continue to ask if we will be using certain items for the day. When each item was delivered, my students were so excited. From TK-5th grade, each student was curious and eager to use the new materials. I gave them a chance to explore the items and I could see the joy on their faces.\r\n\r\nMore specifically, when my students saw the new puppets in class, they immediately asked me where did we get them from and when can we use them! I've used the puppets to teach my lower grade students, Tk-2nd grade, melody and explored high and low sounds. They have grasped concepts significantly faster and remain so excited to come to music because they know they will get to use puppets to sing with.","fullyFundedDate":1760693713351,"projectUrl":"project/music-for-young-musicians/9626639/","projectTitle":"Music for Young Musicians!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Morris","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10190988_orig.jpg?crop=213,213,x0,y2&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755638863500","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10190988"},{"teacherId":3358874,"projectId":9296306,"letterContent":"I am writing with immense gratitude and exciting news regarding our Donors Choose project, \"Incentive Items to Celebrate Student Success\".\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness and belief in my students, we were able to fully implement our positive behavior incentive program. I am thrilled—and honestly, a little overwhelmed—to share that your generous donations have already led to great improvements in student behavior and work habits across our classroom.\r\n\r\nBefore receiving the materials, we struggled with focus and assignment follow-through. Now, since putting the incentive system into place, I have observed a significant and measurable shift:\r\n\r\nBehavior: Classroom disruptions have decreased, allowing us to spend more time on hands-on learning and less time on redirection. Students are actively coaching each other and holding themselves accountable.\r\n\r\nWork Habits: Our assignment completion rate has improved, and students are showing increased pride in the quality of their work as they strive for recognition. The consistent, achievable goals have made learning more engaging and rewarding for everyone.\r\n\r\nThe funds you provided allowed us to purchase the incentives that make this system work. Seeing the students light up as they earn a reward or a shout-out confirms that your investment wasn't just in supplies, but in creating a genuinely more focused, respectful, and productive learning environment.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a champion for my students.
