My students range from 6th grade to 8th grade, and all are on the moderate to severe side of the Autism spectrum. To help my students thrive they need different modifications and tools so that they can be successful in accessing their curriculum to the best of their ability. Autistic kids learn in a different way. Despite the many challenges my students face on a daily basis it is my goal to give them the most comfortable and appealing learning environment possible. My students learn by doing hands-on activities while being able to move and fidget around. They love lots of positive praise and attention.
