One of the things I am most excited about is the box set of One Piece books. I already know my former fourth graders are going to be thrilled to see these waiting for them in fifth grade! As a teacher, I truly believe that once you are their reading teacher, you are always their reading teacher. I love being able to continue supporting my students' love of reading even after they leave my classroom, and I know these books will be a favorite for many of them next year.\r\n\r\nOur new robot pencil sharpener has also been a game changer! Our old sharpeners constantly struggled, and it seemed like the motor would give out just when we needed it most. This new sharpener is incredibly easy for students to use and has made sharpening pencils quick and hassle-free. We also received glue and cups that were put to good use during our end-of-year STEM projects. These materials allowed students to design, build, experiment, and problem-solve together while having the supplies they needed to bring their ideas to life.\r\n\r\nFinally, our new book baskets have given all of the wonderful books we've received through DonorsChoose a proper home! Our classroom library continues to grow, and having sturdy, organized baskets makes it easier for students to browse, find books that interest them, and keep our growing collection organized. These trays have already made such a difference in the way we organize and use our math materials each day. Unlike our previous plastic trays, which were smaller and frequently cracked or broke, these new trays are larger, sturdier, and durable enough to hold our math books and materials without falling apart. They have made it much easier for students to keep their work organized and have created a more functional workspace during our daily math lessons.\r\n\r\nI especially love that these trays fit the aesthetic of our classroom while serving such an important purpose. My students are able to easily access their math books, supplies, and materials, which helps our transitions run more smoothly and gives them more independence in managing their learning space. Most importantly, these trays are built to last! Instead of replacing broken plastic trays year after year, these durable trays will be used by my fourth graders for many years to come.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has provided my students with a simple resource that has had a meaningful impact on our everyday learning. The books we received have quickly become some of the most loved materials in our classroom. In particular, the graphic novels and series books were an instant hit with my students. Many students immediately found a series or character they connected with and couldn't wait to pick up the next book. It has been so exciting to watch students recommend books to one another, talk about what they are reading, and become genuinely excited about reading. These books have helped create a classroom where reading is something students look forward to—not just something they are assigned.\r\n\r\nThe craft materials have also been put to work in so many meaningful ways! Students used them to create special projects for Mother's Day, bringing their creativity and personal touches into something meaningful for their families. We also used the materials during our STEM challenges, where students had opportunities to design, build, problem-solve, and work together. During our Amplify Eureka lessons, the craft supplies became tools for group projects that allowed students to take their learning off the page and turn their ideas into something they could create and share. These materials have given my students opportunities to collaborate, think creatively, and learn by doing.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students have had access to books that sparked a love of reading and materials that turned everyday lessons into memorable learning experiences.
