Reading is an important skill that students will use for the rest of their lives. Every Friday, students can book shop in the classroom library. They can choose up to five books. The students are eager to pick out books each Friday from the new options. Some of the donations are being used for whole class read alouds. We are currently reading \"Third Grade Angels\" by Jerry Spinelli. The students and I are really enjoying reading this one together. \r\n\r\nI plan to use the multiple copies of Matilda for a book club. We worked together in Triwizard challenges, hunted for magical creatures, and mixed up potions in cauldrons. Every day, we laughed, learned, and encouraged each other.\r\n\r\nThe Quidditch matches were one of our favorite parts.
