These materials will help my students have access to supplies they need and deserve for their educational experience. The headphones in my material request are an important request as these are a big ticket item for many of my families that many not have the funds to to purchase these items with their own budget for their families. Cozy chairs and light dimming shades serve a dual purchase not only to promote an appealing environment for reading, but also to serve the sensory needs of students who need it the most. While gel pens may seem trivial for adults in our technology based world, that orange, glitter gel pen may ignite a student's true self that they can finally put to paper.
