We also used some resources to help students follow a class routine which has helped us made daily transitions smoothly.\r\nStudents have also been able to work with some art projects/ hands-on activities related to the lessons with materials that were donated by you.\r\nYour generosity has made a huge impact on my students life and for that I am grateful!","fullyFundedDate":1752877007894,"projectUrl":"project/pk3where-it-all-begins/9382375/","projectTitle":"PK3…Where It All Begins","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Martinez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9566272"},{"teacherId":6786250,"projectId":9395134,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation. It has truly made a difference in our classroom. The students and I have really enjoyed using the materials. The clear sleeves, in particular, have been a wonderful addition. They're helping us build fine motor skills in a fun hands on way. They've allowed me to turn regular worksheets into engaging activities that the students love. \r\n\r\nThe bins and trays have been a fantastic addition to our classroom. They help us keep materials and activities organized at each center, which makes it easier for students to find what they need and stay engaged. This has really helped us maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming learning environment.\r\n\r\nFinally, the students' favorite has definitely been our pretend and learn center. It's a class favorite! I love watching their imaginations come to life as they cook meals and role play with their peers. It's been such a joyful and creative part of our day. As you can see from the photos, the students really enjoyed having actual materials to touch, and this helped encourage the students to give more careful consideration to the topic. \r\n\r\n The students also used the Makedo cardboard tools to build models of their inventions. These tools made it possible for the students to build without as much adult intervention because I knew the students could not injure themselves. This allowed them a lot more freedom to play, explore, fail, and try again. A key ingredient of success is learning how to become tenacious as you create. The students felt proud of their accomplishments because they worked so hard to achieve success without adult intervention.\r\n\r\n Thank you so much for investing in these young inventors!","fullyFundedDate":1742919952061,"projectUrl":"project/tomorrows-inventions-need-todays-suppo/9100824/","projectTitle":"Tomorrow's Inventions Need Today's Support!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Couto","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9917294"},{"teacherId":9875932,"projectId":9009662,"letterContent":"Thank you for donating a variety of chapter books to help build our classroom library and reading center. Your kindness has increased the number of books available to students, exposing them to new genres, authors, and topics. The various book selections have fueled a love of reading which was the goal when we began this project.\r\n\r\nI love to see the enthusiasm and look of joy on the student's faces when they are discussing the books they have read with their peers. The Merge Cubes and LEGO Spike kits have made a huge impact on our students' learning experience. We've used the Merge Cubes to enhance interactive lessons in subjects like science and history, allowing students to explore 3D models of complex topics in a hands-on way. The LEGO Spike kits have brought engineering and coding to life, encouraging students to build, problem-solve, and collaborate while creating their own robots. One of our favorite projects so far involved using the Merge Cubes to explore the solar system, with students navigating through different planets in a virtual space adventure!\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement. The hands-on nature of both the Merge Cubes and LEGO Spike kits instantly captured their attention. They were eager to get started, diving into the kits and experimenting with building different creations. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and creativity unleashed as they engaged with the new technology. The materials truly sparked a new level of enthusiasm for learning in our classroom.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are excited to continue using the Merge Cubes and LEGO Spike kits in upcoming projects. For instance, our next lesson will involve coding with the LEGO Spike kits to create a robot that can perform a series of tasks. Students will work in teams, applying their problem-solving skills to design and program their robots. This collaborative project will allow them to combine critical thinking with creativity, preparing them for future challenges in STEM fields.
