My class is already using the materials to learn sounds, read, and spell their skills words. The students are using the play dough to map sounds in the words they read and they use it to practice spelling their tricky words. The laminator paper is constantly needed for me to create new centers and to preserve them for years to come. We use Velcro dots everywhere, but most recently they helped us solve our issue of spilling our \"penny jars\" - our rewards system. Velcroing them down is a game changer in terms of spills! Finally, the students really enjoy the white boards. We practice printing in our best handwriting and we practice writing full sentences on them. \r\n\r\nThese materials are heavily used in first grade, and I was in need of some fresh supplies. It was very exciting for the students to know the things they're using are brand new. Your generosity made a huge difference to us!
