While many people use devices at home, learning how they work behind the screen requires special tools. The controller, sensors, sounds and LEDs in the kit you funded brought our curriculum to life, transforming abstract coding into physical engineering. The absolute most exciting part for my students was the immediate feedback, seeing a successful line of code make a light flash, display messages, read environmental temperatures, or generate a sound. This hands-on tinkering turned passive screen time into active, collaborative learning, giving them a real-world understanding of how software interacts with hardware.\r\n\r\nThe impact of this donation is best measured by the confidence it has built and the futures it has already sparked. I had just one young lady enrolled in the class, but her excitement was so contagious that by the end of the year, several of her girlfriends were stopping by the lab and have now expressed a real interest in joining next year. On top of that, one of our graduating seniors, recently accepted as an undeclared major into a university for science and technology, is now considering majoring in Computer Science, while other students are already asking to expand this course into cybersecurity and AI foundations.\r\n\r\nYour gift did so much more than stock my lab shelves, it provided the exact spark my students needed to see what they are truly capable of building. Thank you so much again for investing in their futures and making this beautiful transformation possible.","fullyFundedDate":1758375410417,"projectUrl":"project/edison-innovation-hands-on-coding-with/9515337/","projectTitle":"Edison Innovation: Hands-On Coding with Arduino for Future Tech Leaders!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bassett","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10100378"},{"teacherId":10175395,"projectId":9590789,"letterContent":"Thank you for helping me to settle into my new role as an Autistic Support teacher .
