The composition notebooks, folders, highlighters, dry-erase boards, and storage materials have transformed our daily routines. Many of my students come to school without basic supplies, and having consistant high-quality materials available for every student has removed a huge barrioer to their success. The lapboards have become one of our most-used items- they allow students to draft, revise, and practice in a low-pressure way, and the instant feedback has lifted participation from even my most hesitant learners.\r\n\r\nThe colored folders and construction paper have helped us build individualized student binders, goal-tracking systems, and creative reflection activities. The new storage cart and file organizers have brought structure to our classroom, which is especially powerful for students who struggle with executive functioning. Instead of losing papers or avoiding assignments, they now have clear, predictable systems that help them stay on track. \r\n\r\nYour donations didn't just provide schools supplies- they created a classroom environment where students feel prepared, supported, and capable. My students' confidence has grown tremendously. Covid created a culture of cleanliness in today's students. The first thing most ask is do you have alcohol wipes or hand sanitizer. They really know how important it is. \r\n\r\nThe water was a huge success. Many come to school with nothing to drink and that little milk carton at lunch is not enough. Knowing they had water available helped them focus on what was important.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, when I tell them the donations come from strangers they are shocked. It leads us into a great conversation about caring for others.
