I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!. Last week one of my tk students said that we have the best tk class and I know it's because of the supplies Donorschoose has helped me include in my classroom. Struggling readers have a hard journey and I do everything in my power to give my students a multisensory, and supportive environment to build oral language skills and phonemic awareness so that they leave tk with the foundational skills they need to be successful. \r\nIncluding exciting and engaging games and activities in my center time makes learning seem less like a chore and fun. When adults walk into my room they want them to \"play\" with them. They don't even realize they are learning! \r\nThanks to donors like you I have lots of new and exciting things up my sleeve to make learning fun for them. The products I have purchased on TPT have been great to practice letters and sounds and sorting. The laminating sheets help protect these games so that we can use them for years to come! The oil drip pan is a large magnetic surface to put another center like sorting cookies. \r\n\r\nI've been so blessed by Donorschoose. You have helped my young tk students feel successful by providing activities and materials that bring them both joy and motivation to try their best while engaging in activities multiple times to retain what we have learned. Hands on, engaging, multisensory activities are how they best learn and you have helped me provide that for them. I just tested my kids... and I currently have only 1 student at-risk right now. I know with continued practice during centers, that by the end of the year they will also know their letters and sounds. I truly can't thank you enough for helping my kids pave a path to success.","fullyFundedDate":1763614000774,"projectUrl":"project/math-magic-in-tk/9818033/","projectTitle":"Math Magic in TK","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hall","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3576951_orig.jpg?crop=299,299,x5,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1583544593809","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-hall-ttes"},{"teacherId":3576951,"projectId":9741769,"letterContent":"I wish you could visit my classroom to see the learning that is happening in my classroom thanks to you! My 4-5 year olds love our reading corner and are enjoying the felt board to retell stories like the 5 Little Ducks and the 5 Little Monkeys. They feel so successful with retelling these stories and can't wait to read more!! The cookie cutters have been a huge hit in our play dough center. The kids are using the cutters to spell their name and to make shapes in our classroom. The dot markers have been so fun to practice our numbers and counting objects to 10. I have to say one of their favorite new centers is the sensory table. With the TPT gift card I have been able to purchase and print off \"recipes\" that the kids use to count the acrylic fall decorations that we received . When we get back from break, I was able to purchase gingerbread \"recipes\" to go along with our gingerbread theme. So fun!! There is not much money in our budget to purchase hands on materials like these so I am SO thankful that you supported my project!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! These materials not only boost social language but also advance broader speech and language goals, including comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and inferencing.
