Research has shown that when students are comfortable in their classroom environment, especially in their seating, they are more productive and focused academically. I have seen this evidenced first hand in our classroom for the last two years. Through various other donations and fundraising efforts, I have been able to purchase several different types of seating options for the classroom. As my students have had the opportunity to choose their own seating, they have been more focused, attentive, and engaged, and I have had far fewer discipline issues. Your donations will provide additional alternative seating in the form of adjustable height tables and stools, and help my students to further excel academically.
