The diamond art materials gave my students access to a creative activity they wouldn't normally have, helping to keep them off their phones and fully engaged in meaningful learning.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment the diamond art arrived, excitement filled the room. Students eagerly participated in projects that required listening, speaking, and group collaboration. Engagement and learning both soared—never one without the other. I've seen test scores improve and greater collaboration among students.\r\n\r\nYour support helped create a calm, safe classroom and a phenomenal learning environment where students are genuinely excited to come to class each day. I have real data showing that integrating diamond art made a significant difference. This would not have happened without your help, and I am truly grateful for your impact on my students' lives.","fullyFundedDate":1739370748600,"projectUrl":"project/integrating-art-and-literature/9024258/","projectTitle":"Integrating Art and Literature","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Ess","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9885253_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752714495186","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9885253"},{"teacherId":8278117,"projectId":9011273,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous donation, our DECA students were able to fundraise using the new slushie machine! Since receiving it, our students have raised over $2,000, surpassing the cost of the machine itself. This money has gone directly toward helping students offset their competition fees for DECA events, giving more students the opportunity to compete, learn, and grow. Watching the students take ownership of the fundraising process, from planning, selling, cleaning and schedule managing has been a real-world business lesson.\r\n\r\nAt first we received a broken slushie machine but this was a good learning experience as this was a real life problem. Once we received the second working machine, the students were beyond excited. They immediately began brainstorming ways to incorporate it into a business plan outlining pricing, marketing strategies, and staffing shifts. They have taken pride in their success and hard work.\r\n\r\nMany students shared that working together on the slushie fundraisers not only taught them about teamwork and business operations, but also helped them form close friendships. Students who hadn't interacted much before found themselves collaborating, problem-solving, and supporting each other both inside and outside the classroom. It turned into more than just a fundraising effort it became a bonding experience that strengthened our DECA chapter as a whole.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your support. We are forever grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1735881257172,"projectUrl":"project/sip-support-succeed-empowering-stude/9011273/","projectTitle":"\"Sip, Support, Succeed: Empowering Student Clubs with a Slushie Machine\"","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rio Polidori","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8278117_orig.jpg?crop=2400,2400,x0,y232&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1696901246832","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-polidori"},{"teacherId":8308479,"projectId":8898712,"letterContent":"I am incredibly grateful for the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card and the positive impact it has already had on my classroom. As I prepare lessons for a new class, having access to high-quality resources has saved me valuable time in planning. Instead of spending hours creating materials from scratch, I have been able to find engaging, well-designed activities that align perfectly with my curriculum. This has allowed me to focus more on my students and their individual needs rather than stressing over lesson prep.\r\n\r\nBeyond the time savings, this gift card has also helped create a more dynamic and engaging learning environment for my students.
