These notebooks, pens, and Chromebook chargers have already transformed the energy and productivity in my classroom.\r\n\r\nWe put the materials to use right away during our current writing unit. My 9th graders are drafting their personal narratives, and the moment I passed out their brand-new notebooks, you'd think it was Christmas morning. Students were flipping through pages, testing out pens, and—even better—immediately diving into their writing. One student told me, \"I feel like a real writer now,\" which melted my teacher heart.\r\n\r\nThe Chromebook chargers have been a lifesaver. Instead of scrambling to find a working device or sharing with a partner, students can now fully engage during our research days. It has cut down on downtime and frustration, and increased independence and confidence.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments so far was watching a group of students spread out across the room, some on the floor, some standing at the counters, each immersed in brainstorming and planning in their new notebooks.
