It's like a home away from home for me as a teacher and for the students, and I want it to be engaging and customized to my students. \r\nAs a reader I enjoy reading a book series, so I asked for the \"How to Catch\" series that includes \"How to Catch a Yeti\" and holiday-themed titles like \"How to Catch a Turkey\" and \"How to Catch a Reindeer.\" Students practice predicting what will happen next and checking their predictions. \r\nIn addition, I just finished the book The One and Only Ivan as our class read aloud and found short chapter books by the same author for my advanced readers.
