My plan for the new resources are to utilize them during our advisory block which allows for choice time. Students in my advisory are a part of a group that chose \"chill and reflective\". By incorporating games like Checkers, Guess Who and Marvel Monopoly, they can partner up and play shorter games. \r\n\r\nIt was a gloomy morning, but boy did the gloom disappear when the games where introduced. They were certainly excited to see new games to compliment our other games and puzzles. \r\n\r\nWe also received a couple graphic novels in Spanish. Those will join our reading library. Our newcomers can read them in class or on MCAS testing days for after they complete the assessment.","fullyFundedDate":1773089221957,"projectUrl":"project/reading-playing-and-learning-in-an-el-u/10137191/","projectTitle":"Reading, Playing and Learning in an EL Urban Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Goodwin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9677780"},{"teacherId":9677780,"projectId":9676421,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom through DonorsChoose. Having reliable access to printed materials helps remove barriers and ensures students can fully participate in lessons with confidence.\r\n\r\nThe printer has opened up new opportunities for student voice and choice. Students are now able to create authentic learning products such as stories, presentations, reflections, and projects that showcase their ideas and growing language skills. Being able to see their work in print gives them a sense of pride and ownership, and it empowers them to share their thinking in ways that feel real and purposeful.\r\n\r\nYour support goes far beyond a piece of equipment—it helps create an inclusive classroom where students feel valued, capable, and motivated to express themselves.
