They were so excited to try out the wobble cushions and chair bands, and many of them couldn't believe that the new materials were just for them. The very first day, I noticed students who normally struggle to sit still during lessons were suddenly engaged and participating without constant reminders. The chair bands gave their busy feet a quiet outlet, and the wobble cushions helped students stay centered and focused.\r\n\r\nOne specific moment that stood out was during our small group reading lesson. I had a student who often finds it difficult to concentrate and will typically ask for multiple breaks. With a wobble cushion, he was able to stay in the group the entire time. It was such a proud moment, not just for him but for our whole group who cheered him on.\r\n\r\nThe rolling carts have been a game changer as well. Each table group now has their own \"home base\" for supplies, which has made transitions smoother and cut down on wasted time. Instead of scrambling to find pencils or glue sticks, students go straight to their cart and are ready to learn. They love having responsibility for keeping their cart organized, and it has built a sense of teamwork in each group.\r\n\r\nRight now, we are beginning a writing project where students are crafting personal narratives. Thanks to the organization of the carts, all of their journals, graphic organizers, and supplies are neatly stored and easy to access. The flexible seating makes it possible for every student to choose a spot that helps them do their best work, whether that's wiggling a little while brainstorming ideas or stretching their feet on a band while they write. These materials have not only improved focus but have truly boosted confidence and independence in my classroom.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students have a learning environment that supports their needs and helps them shine. The Musical\" and the new microphones and PA system allowed us to have a balanced and high-quality sound for our audience. The lighting was fantastic and allowed us to change colors during certain scenes for dramatic effect.\r\n\r\nOur Lions Orchestra and Band also benefitted from the background lighting and the microphone sound during our recent Spring Concert. We are also using the microphones for recording some of our rehearsals so that students can listen back to their performances. This is an important educational experience for young musicians. \r\n\r\nYour assistance with this campaign is helpful in growing our performing arts programs at Sunrise Elementary School.
