It's the moment when you are reading that one book, the one that lets you temporarily escape the world. It's the moment where the story allows you to experience someone else's life for a little while, to explore the world through the comfort of your home, the moment that inspires you to go out and be more. That is what I am asking you to help me create in my student's lives. I want my students to be able to experience the joy that comes with finding that perfect book, a small escape from the stress of their young lives. Having the addition of the plush rug and the beanbag chairs will create a more comfortable and inviting environment which will encourage my students to read. By creating a comforting classroom library, my students will have the opportunity to truly discover who they are as readers, have the opportunity to see what lies beyond our community, and to further inspire them to find what makes them happy in life.

About my class
