By supplying y classroom with these items I have been able to be successful in my teaching in various ways from big to small. Some examples include, the Junie B. Jones books, and others, that I have used in my small groups for my students to help further their reading to the big sharpies I use to write locker tags and banners, to the podium I use to stand and teach our UFLI material, to the birthday supples and cups I use to make my students feel special!\r\n\r\nWhen I opened and showed the materials the students were ecstatic! They could not believe how much was given to us, they were curious about every box that arrived and they love the podium, books, birthday cups and so much more!\r\n\r\nWith the tape and super glue my students are conducting engineering projects in which they need to make a house for the big bad wolf. These supplies will be so helpful in their creativity! We've only had the items for two weeks before our winter break, but already they have been used multiple times. \r\nThe Lakeshore magnetic boards are helping my students understand how to use their phonics by building words with the magnetic letters and then writing the words out. It's really helpful with their spelling in their homeroom classes as well. Teachers have noticed an increase in these students' phonic skills. \r\nAll items are used to increase their phonic skills. The word ladders make them think about how switching one sound can change the word. \r\nThe Touch and Read Phonics are great. The scratchy circles under each sound help with my students sensory needs, while sounding out the words. Then they need to think about what word they have before finding the picture that matches it.\r\n\r\nThank you from the bottom of my heart for your donation to my classroom.
