Your support has made a meaningful difference in our classroom by helping us create an organized, engaging learning environment where students can focus on learning instead of managing materials.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest improvements has been our classroom organization. Because my students work at tables rather than individual desks, the chair storage pockets provide each student with a personal space to keep notebooks, folders, and daily learning materials within easy reach. Students quickly learned to stay organized and transition between subjects much more efficiently. The classroom mailboxes also became an important part of our daily routine. They provided a designated place for take-home folders, graded work, permission slips, and school flyers, making dismissal smoother while helping students take greater responsibility for bringing important papers home.\r\n\r\nThe instructional materials have also transformed our daily lessons. The dry erase circles, markers, and microfiber erasers turned every table into an instant practice space. Instead of spending valuable instructional time passing out dry-erase boards, students simply grabbed a marker and began practicing morphology, spelling patterns, roots, and affixes within seconds. They loved writing directly on the table circles, and the quick access encouraged every student to participate during whole-group lessons. The notebook tabs helped students organize their interactive notebooks into sections for foundational skills, vocabulary, and reading comprehension, making it easier to locate resources throughout the year. The Sharpie chart markers were used to create colorful anchor charts, many of which were made alongside my students, that continue to serve as visual reminders of important learning long after each lesson ends.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has provided resources that will continue to benefit many classes of students for years to come. Every organized notebook, every interactive practice session, and every anchor chart represents another opportunity for students to build confidence and grow as learners. These games have helped create a more interactive learning environment where students are actively involved and excited to participate.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were immediately enthusiastic and eager to get started. Even students who were previously less confident have become more willing to try, participate, and share their thinking. As we move into the last part of the school year, we will continue using these resources to support current lessons and reinforce important math skills. These texts have helped introduce important skills such as making personal connections to stories, understanding characters' perspectives, identifying themes, and thinking critically about how stories reflect real-world experiences. Students are also strengthening their discussion skills as they listen to one another, share ideas, and engage in respectful conversations.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom now plays a central role in social emotional learning for the entire school community. These books are used during whole-school and classroom lessons that focus on empathy, identity, kindness, and belonging. Through shared read-alouds and guided discussions, students explore important social emotional themes and connect them to their own experiences and school life. Many students are especially engaged during these lessons because they feel seen in the stories and are eager to talk about their thoughts and feelings. They love using the feelings the mirrors to identify their feelings. We've added the feelings pop-its to our emotional calm down bins. Kyle the Calm Down Koala has been helping us to learn to slow down and breathe.\r\n The laminating sheets have been very helpful as we make individualized materials for each of students to help them deal with their emotions and to create new games and learning activities for all three of the kindergarten classrooms at my school.\r\n\r\n Although some of our first choice activities weren't available, we were able to get some new magnetic blocks to use at self select time to let out some energy and a coloring book to talk about feelings words. We are saving the cocoa and marshmallow fidgets as a fun surprise to use in January when we come back from winter break.\r\n Thank you for your continued support of our students. The students love picking which color board they want to use and drawing on it. It's much simpler than using whiteboards with expo markers and erasers when the markers or erasers don't work.\r\nAlso my students loved seeing the bunch bands added to their desks. Since only selected students have the bouncy bands, it made them feel special. It has helped active students stay focused on class.
