We have also been able to study light and angles by reflecting the laser off of the mirrors. We have also been able to study colors through the way they combine to make new colors and the different patterns they make using spectroscopy. My students were very excited to see the materials. We were able to grow plants using the hydroponics kit. A few students didn't think we would actually be able to grow plants without using soil, but the activity showed them it's possible. The hydrobots were a little challenging at first as we tried to connect everything, however we got them to work just fine. The kids love trying to adjust the robotic arm so they can get it \"just right\" to pick up an object. The gem kits tied in nicely to our language arts reader that told the story of kids at a fossil camp. They were able to match up the similarities and got a feel for how the work would be done.\r\n Once again, thank you for the science materials.
