We have been using them during tutorials and collaborative study sessions to map out key ideas, solve problems step by step, and brainstorm together. One of my favorite moments was during a group activity where students had to break down a complex reading—seeing them crowd around their whiteboards, sketching out main ideas and connecting concepts, really highlighted how the tools encouraged teamwork and made their thinking visible. The whiteboards gave them the freedom to make mistakes, erase, and try again, which has helped them take more risks in their learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was obvious. Several immediately grabbed a marker and started doodling or writing their names just to test them out. They loved the idea that learning could be more interactive and less tied to paper and pencil. A few even said it felt \"more fun\" and \"less stressful\" to work out problems on the boards.
