These grow lights and soil are already making a difference in our classroom. I've been building plant areas throughout the room, and students are drawn to them every day. They love having living plants as part of their learning environment. Even teachers have been coming in to be around the plants!\r\n\r\nWith the new supplies, we're able to expand the plant stations so more students can take part in caring for and planting new seeds. They will be learning how to start plants correctly, how light affects growth, and how to take responsibility for living things in our classroom. These aren't just decorations to them, they're part of our routine and part of how we learn science together. After I received the materials, I got to announce the sensory break spot to all my elementary classes. The students cheered and were so excited to use it! I have some students with 504s and IEPs that come to class and use those noise-cancelling earphones every day.
