My students started using these supplies and supplies from Day 1! Without this donation from the Charles Schwab Foundation, I would not have been able to purchase any of these material or supplies. \r\n\r\nWe have used your donations for activities from brainstorming to gallery walks. The highlighters have been particularly useful for helping students analyze the College Board's AP Business with Personal Finance case studies. Students love color coding according to the College Board's Business Canvas Model. I made laminated Business Model Canvas sheets for each student so that they could use your wet erase markers to capture their business ideas as they evolve. This College Board course is known for it's project-based focus and the large stick easel pads have been making group collaboration as well as formal/informal presentations go so well.\r\n\r\nStudents have just started to present business ideas in the class before the students pair up. I have encouraged them to practice with the presentation clicker you provided. These presentation skills definitely will help to prepare them for the type of work they will encounter if they go to university. \r\n\r\nYour generosity is much appreciated. I have shared the fact that the Charles Schwab Foundation donated these items with my students and they are grateful as well.","fullyFundedDate":1786366985635,"projectUrl":"project/support-my-ap-business-students-to-colla/10378530/","projectTitle":"Support My Ap Business Students to Collaborate, Communicate and Create Businesses!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. H.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2317863"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_61769","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1394,"numTeachers":125,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":10,"percentWhite":34,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":45,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":4,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"11.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":65.0,"schoolId":61769,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Somerville High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Somerville High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/massachusetts/somerville-public-schools/somerville-high-school/61769"}
