It was a very hectic year for me personally and many things, including this letter, fell by the wayside. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was not able to fully show my (and my students') gratitude with photos and student thank-you letters as I would have liked to, but rest assured that the magazines were greatly appreciated and your generosity did not go unnoticed. I used the magazines during small group time to offer my students more interesting stories that aligned to our benchmarks than what is available through our district curriculum. My students were excited to read the different articles, particularly in the news and science-themed magazines, and they certainly learned new ideas and information that I hope were beneficial to them.
