When it comes to creating assignments, I'm trying to cut back on paper copies and rely more on the vast amount of digital resources available to us. I also like to provide audio versions of the stories we read in class so that my lower level students can easily follow along. During small group time, however, the cacophony of audio from 25 iPads is just too distracting. Most of my students cannot afford their own peace and quiet. Headphones are a necessary tool in our classroom, so that everyone is able to concentrate on their own work without outside distractions. But headphones are not in the typical family's budget these days. That's where you come in! A good pair of headphones will make a world of difference to my students, and to our classroom environment. Do you hear what I hear? It's the sound of learning!
