Children also are able to collaborate with each other, solve problems, and build confidence. I am so thankful for this beautiful pretend play area in our classroom! I have noticed children increasing their social and emotional development where they will read with each other and re tell familiar books to their peers and teachers. \r\nThe calm environment promotes self-regulation and quiet time, which can be especially helpful for children who need breaks.
