It is such an important component of child development, and this playhouse is helping to facilitate this growth.\r\n\r\nThe furniture and people that were included in my project make the playhouse even more fun and functional. The students were very excited to to start building and analyzing the finished projects. We will be looking at how the 3D shapes come together to create the final project.\r\n\r\nThis gives the students a real life way to see how different shapes are put together to form some amazing final products. Instead of looking at how a semi-circle can sit on top of a rectangle, now we can see what it would look like in the real world and still find the math behind it - such as the amount of surface area or the volume that it takes up. Not only do they get to build hands on, but they can build a model of something in the real world and use math to see what is happening with the model and apply it to the real thing.\r\n\r\nAgain thank you for your donation to help our class get the Architecture Legos that will allow us to bring the 3D math unit to real life.","fullyFundedDate":1746718380285,"projectUrl":"project/bringing-3d-geometry-to-real-life-with-a/9278165/","projectTitle":"Bringing 3d Geometry to Real Life With Architecture Legos","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. HAGEDORN","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-hagedorn"},{"teacherId":6579839,"projectId":9492684,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project! We have been able to use this space to problem solve and discuss and practice coping skills.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating options included in this project will give my students more opportunities to take a break in a comfortable and calming setting that meets their needs. The short table has helped me add more varied space and seating for students to use regulation tools like puzzles, play dough, fidgets, and art. \r\n\r\nThe materials purchased in this project have provided flexible seating choices to my students, allowing them to be more independent and take ownership of the actions and emotions.
