Some of the simplest benefits we've had come from just having the pencils and composition notebooks, as we know we can't take notes or follow along in the lessons without them. These kids have also been absolutely going THROUGH these glue sticks gluing pages into our journals, so what I thought was over-buying to stock up ended up being hopefully just enough for the year. I know that having something they can look back on throughout the year will benefit them in studying and active learning to boost their exam preparation and mental retention of the material.\r\nWe have also been enjoying the use of the whiteboards and expo markers! IT has been so nice to have something to write and erase on to show work for example problems and mini lessons so they don't have to feel like they're wasting whole sheets of paper for just one or two questions. It has also been a nice thing to doodle on off to the side that they can mindlessly work on in their downtime, really showing creativity and skill.\r\nAll in all, even if the kids themselves don't realize how much y'all have really helped my classroom, I greatly appreciate it.
