From the moment it arrived, they were excited to have a comfortable space that felt like it was created especially for them.\r\n\r\nWe use the rug every single day for social skills lessons, small-group activities, sensory and regulation breaks, games, and times when students simply need a comfortable place to reset. Having a clearly defined gathering area has been especially helpful for my students with Autism, who often benefit from predictable spaces and routines.\r\n\r\nOne of the things I love most is seeing my students naturally gravitate toward this space. What started as an empty area of our classroom has become a place where we practice important skills, build relationships, work through difficult moments, laugh together, and celebrate successes.\r\n\r\nOur next step is continuing to build this area into a space that supports both learning and regulation while helping students become more independent in recognizing what they need to be successful.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students so much more than a rug. You helped us create a place where they can feel comfortable, connected, supported, and that they truly belong.
