When the new resources arrived, my students were thrilled—they couldn't wait to dive in and start making a difference. One student exclaimed, \"We're really helping people with this!\"\r\nWe created 55 Blessing Bags filled with essential items and handwritten notes of encouragement for those in need. This project has sparked meaningful discussions about empathy and kindness, and it's been amazing to see students working together with such purpose.\r\n\r\nWe were able to hang these Blessing Bags on the fence in front of our building. We did this when we had cold weather so we could help as many people as possible. Another reason for this is because he have a cemetery close to our school where homeless people our living in tents. So we thought they migh walk by and be able to take a blessing bag or too.. \r\nAfterward, students reflected on the experience by writing about what they learned and how small acts of kindness can create big impacts.\r\nYour generosity didn't just provide materials—it empowered my students to see themselves as change-makers. Without your help, they would have not had so much success, honestly.\r\n\r\nTest scores improved in math this year because of having access to all the computer mice and headphones for learning programs. They really enjoyed using these items every single day! The headphones allowed for better focus and less distractions, while the mice made it easier to answer questions.\r\n\r\nAs for the extra colored ink, I was able to print out many helpful math sheets for them to keep in their daily binders and was able to print out colorful awards fir when they made individual progress. Thanks to your support for our Donor's Choose project, our students got to end this school year with a more organized, efficient, and joyful creative environment. The new, sharp scissors have been a game-changer, allowing us to finish their artwork for our big International Day Show with ease! It really helped to boost their confidence and improve the quality of their artwork. The adaptive scissors helped to ensure all students, especially those with fine motor challenges, can fully participate and develop their skills.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has directly helped us achieve our primary goal of creating a more organized and accessible space. The baskets and trays are perfect for getting our supplies and artwork neatly stored on our new shelves, which means less time searching and more time creating! This improved organization fosters greater independence for our students and truly maximizes the precious time we have for artistic exploration. The students were excited to begin working with family members. Students will be assessed on their fluency skills for the remaining of the year and we have already seen growth. The resources we received have already made a noticeable difference in our classroom. The trays and bins have been instrumental in organizing our STEAM Centers, making each activity more accessible and allowing students to focus on creating without distractions. The clay, modeling dough, and pixel challenge activities have been exciting additions to our centers, giving students more opportunities to experiment, build, and express themselves creatively.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement! They were eager to dive into the activities, and it's been wonderful to see them working collaboratively, sharing ideas, and finding creative solutions to challenges. These hands-on activities have not only engaged them but also helped them strengthen their fine motor skills and build confidence in their abilities.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to continue expanding our STEAM Centers to include even more cross-disciplinary connections. My goal is to integrate these resources into larger projects that tie art to science, engineering, and technology, giving students even more opportunities to explore their creativity.
