I put together the floor lamps right away and got them up and running as soon as they were delivered. I also had a student ask me if he could stay after school to put the led lights up. We found a day that our schedules worked out, and this young man put all of the lights up for me! It was a great opportunity for us to connect. Plus, the next day, all of the classes were so excited to finally have led lights around the room. The whole space immediately felt different in the best of ways.\r\n I made sure to be clear about who helped, and what \"Donors Choose\" is. All of these high schoolers were amazed people would be willing to give their money to make our classroom more beautiful and bright. It is something we get to enjoy each and every day. Plus, there is a greater lesson in kindness that the kids have learned.\r\n These lights will be enjoyed for many years by each child that walks through the doors of Room 338.
