My students are very excited to use our new Chromebooks, however with 25+ kids in the classroom it gets very, VERY loud and becomes difficult for students to focus on their task when all chromebooks are playing with sound. I am choosing relatively inexpensive headphones to keep as a class set so students can have a quiet, more focused learning experience when using technology. I teach in the Rochester City School District, which was ranked one of the poorest districts in the country. We can not afford to purchase this item, nor can I personally. It would greatly help my students to take the next step in their education.
