Thanks to the supplies you provided for my Individuals and Societies class, my students were able to express their creativity in meaningful and exciting ways.\r\n\r\nThey were thrilled to receive colored pencils and other materials that opened the door to a wide range of projects. For example, one assignment asked students to design an \"Instagram Project,\" where they created five paper-based posts illustrating the Five Themes of Geography: Movement, Region, Human-Environment Interaction, Location, and Place. Another project challenged them to design their own maps, complete with titles, scales, compass roses, map keys, and named locations.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly enriched their learning experience. These resources not only sparked enthusiasm but also encouraged students to think critically and showcase their ingenuity. I look forward to continuing to provide them with opportunities to use these supplies in future projects that highlight their creativity and imagination.\r\nThank you again for making such a positive impact on my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1758871286575,"projectUrl":"project/individuals-societies/9688536/","projectTitle":"Individuals & Societies","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Bowe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10235403"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_96289","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":151,"numTeachers":28,"percentFrplEligible":94,"percentAsian":10,"percentBlack":16,"percentWhite":6,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":65,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"5.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":60.9,"schoolId":96289,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about School for Global Leaders on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"School for Global Leaders","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/school-for-global-leaders/96289"}
