My students are vibrant, energetic, and they love to be silly in my class. They have myriad needs: many of them arrive to class without the pre-requisite skills, without the supplies to start working, and without the patience and resilience to take on challenges. Many of them struggle with academics and/or social/emotional issues, but when we can meet their needs, they are appreciative and eager to learn and grow together.
