Many students, however, do not have new computers or even old ones that can hold charge for longer periods of time. Classrooms, too, are not equipped with readily available outlets. My students have thoroughly benefited from the powerbanks your generosity allowed us to have.\r\n\r\nThey have been so useful, that I ordered more to share with other classrooms in my school - the students need and use them!\r\n\r\nThe remarkable notebook, in the hands of a student has also been perfect for having notes and assignments available for her classmates who are either absent or get distracted by taking notes - THANK YOU! Know that all of these wonderful tools of learning will continue to benefit not just my current students, but also the future ones.","fullyFundedDate":1734545959799,"projectUrl":"project/power-up-in-math-class/8938816/","projectTitle":"Power Up in Math Class","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Daire","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1505424_orig.jpg?crop=1307,1307,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1663963683679","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/daire"},{"teacherId":1505424,"projectId":9190105,"letterContent":"I ordered privacy shields as part of my project in order to discourage cheating - my students love them! Not only did they provide students the opportunity to have fun and collaborate with their classmates, they also served to bridge a gap between mathematics and language arts. Students used the engineering design process and critical thinking skills to make a moving creature - (they had just read Frankenstein in Language Arts). The excitement and pride of creating something was something that helped them see more of the nuances of the novel.\r\n\r\nThank you for allowing this opportunity to learn and have fun at the same time - my students will not forget the experience!","fullyFundedDate":1750874206351,"projectUrl":"project/ready-2-go-supplies/9396809/","projectTitle":"Ready 2 Go Supplies!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Daire","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1505424_orig.jpg?crop=1307,1307,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1663963683679","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/daire"},{"teacherId":2105512,"projectId":9253895,"letterContent":"Your support helped my students bring with them into a high stakes testing room a boost of confidence and support. Although the collection of items was childlike and probably reminiscent of their youth, it was the touch of whimsy that really made them feel so happy and at ease.
