Large, urban, and diverse school districts have unique needs, and so do the students who study in their schools. My students are excited about learning but need to SEE more of the abstract content. In order to help them, they need experiences with concrete tools, with information about a world they do not know, where mathematics has been applied in real life. I need to bring these experiences to them.
