The moment our students first saw the new instruments, their faces lit up with pure joy and excitement. It was a truly magical moment — many ran over right away, gently touching the keys, playing little melodies, and exploring the new sounds with wonder. \r\n\r\nOne specific project we have started is a \"Keys of Hope\" workshop with a presentation. Each student is composing short pieces, exploring different rhythms, melodies, and emotions through the piano. It's been amazing to watch their confidence and creativity bloom. Once hesitant students are now eager to share their musical ideas with their classmates. We used our nature theme and asked what thunder sounds like, lightning, sunshine, rain, wind, and many animals, all together they are working on a beautiful masterpiece. It is about the process not the actual product and as we keep playing it is bringing light to room and space. \r\n\r\nThanks to your support, music has become an even more powerful bridge for learning, self-expression, and connection in our sessions. Moving forward, we plan to incorporate the pianos into collaborative performances and even invite families to join us for a musical showcase at the end of the year. We had our first in-person play of the pianos in the community at the local library on April 2nd for International Autism Awareness Day in conjunction with our ART show. it brought tears to many eyes. One shy little guy played a song from his favorite game, the Mario theme. \r\n\r\nYour gift has not only provided instruments — it has created a space for joy, learning, and dreams to grow.
