After a brief introduction on how to use and care for the tablets, the students jumped into a simple word dictation activity. I would say a word, and they wrote the sounds they heard to spell it out. The students were so engaged and excited to use the tablets that they didn't even realize they were completing an academic task.\r\n\r\nThese LCD tablets will be a tremendous support for both small- and whole-group instruction. They eliminate the need for boards, markers, and erasers—materials that can often distract students and make organization more challenging.
